Welcome
Hello and welcome! My name is David Sussberg and I am a Cultivator of The Heart and Mind. I am an Evolutionary (Western Tropical) and Mayan Astrologer at Positive Path Astrology. I study and practice the Star Symbols of the Lakota Maka Wicahpi Wicohan: The Universal and Spiritual Laws of Creator. My personal cultivation of my own heart and spirit deeply initiated when traveling and living within Latin America and New Mexico. I embodied the spirit of cultivation from hands on experience, farming around the Americas. I farmed in Ecuador with the Kichwa, the Pehuenche in Chile, the Zapotec in Oaxaca, and several different cultures in New Mexico.
During my travels and life span, I have been blessed to experience and participate in various Sacred Ceremonies from multiple cultures including the Mapuche, Zapotec, K’iche’ Maya, Diné, Méxica, and Lakota, opening my heart and spirit, learning to honor the sacred elements and connect with a Higher Power that brings more magic and miracles to life. I lived many pivotal experiences while mentoring under a Diné healer for several years which profoundly refined my spiritual understanding of life.
I am a passionate educator and have been on this path for many years. My road of teaching is eclectic. Agroecology within the Zapotec community, Herbal remedies to Mayan youth from the teachings of Traditional Mayan Healers. My heart further blossomed while mentoring at-risk youth through regenerative and Indigenous agriculture, witnessing the youth cultivate a connection to ancestral knowledge, caring for our Earth Mother. Nestled in the valleys of Montana, I connected with local Blackfeet community and was honored to teach Native Food Systems at their Community College. For several years, I was able to share another rooted passion of mine, teaching Public Speaking, and Environmental Science at Montana State University and Gallatin College. Currently I serve as the Lead Instructor at CERNA, The Center of Excellence for Regenerative Native Agriculture at The Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska.
Through my journey, I have developed a heartfelt reverence for life, a deeper cosmic and spiritual understanding of reality, and an exuberant excitement for the cosmic spiral road we all travel. Learning ancient Indigenous healing systems from around the world, while living close to the earth, has powerfully motivated me to understand how Astrology’s cosmic cycles guide our way of being. I love being of service encouraging people to be confident and empowered to self-develop, harness their strengths through the stars, and deepen their spiritual practice, opening their heart and cultivate a positive path forward in life!
